Aid from the UN, the Rakhine State Government and NGOs has flowed into two local communities in northern Rakhine State, where unrest occurred following attacks by violent armed men on border posts on October 9 that killed nine police officers.The Rakhine State Government and the organization One More delivered food to 318 households from five village tracts in Maungtaw Township yesterday. The aid included 79 bags of rice, 159 viss of cooking oil, 159 viss of beans, 159 viss of salt plus basic medicines.
