With the increased COVID-19 vaccination coverage in Myanmar and other countries worldwide, adoption of new normal setting by the public and the significant decline in the COVID-19 pandemic cases, the Ministry of Health of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar has revoked its directive of “Public Health Requirements for Travelers Entering Myanmar through International Airports, Seaports and Cross Border POEs” issued on 1 March 2024, with an aim of relaxing health regulations to sustain the promotion of tourism and trade sectors.
