Social Visa Requirement

(Remark: Ex-Myanmar Citizen and Immediate Family can apply social visa)

1.  One (1) completed application form with two photos . (2 photos required)
2.  One (1) completed “Work History form”.
3.  Letter addressed to the Ambassador
4.  One completed biography form ( for the first time visitor)
5.  Original Passport / Travel Document
(Passport/Travel Document must be at least 6 months validity with available visa page.)
သက်တမ်း (၆)လ အောက်ဖြစ်နေသော Passport/Travel Document များအား Visa ထုတ်ပေးခြင်း လုံးဝ(လုံးဝ) မပြုပါ။
Non-American passport need to provide Green Card copy or Documents showing legal status in U.S.)
အခြားနိုင်ငံသားခံယူပြီးသူများသည် ယခင်ကိုင်ဆောင်ခဲ့သည့် မြန်မာနိုင်ငံကူးလက်မှတ်အား မြန်မာသံရုံးသို့ ပြန်လည်အပ်နှံရပါမည်။
မြန်မာနိုင်ငံကူးလက်မှတ် ကိုင်ဆောင်ခဲ့ဘူးခြင်းမရှိပါက၊ ကိုင်ဆောင်ခဲ့ဘူးခြင်းမရှိပါကြောင်း စာရေးသားတင်ပြရပါမည်။
ယခင်ဗီဇာရရှိခဲ့ဖူးပြီး၊ ယခုနိုင်ငံကူးလက်မှတ်အသစ်နှင့်လျှောက်ထားပါက ယခင်ရရှိထားသည့် လူမှုရေးဗီဇာမိတ္တူကို ပူးတွဲတင်ပြရပါမည်။
6.  Prepaid Self-Addressed Return Envelope
(You can use FedEx, UPS or USPS with Tracking Numbers. Embassy assumes no responsibility for any delay or loss of mail, or while the documents are in the custody of the courier services. The applicant shall note the tracking numbers of all used and submitted envelopes.)
ဗီဇာထုတ်ပေးပြီးပါက လျှောက်ထားသူထံသို့ ပြန်လည်ပေးပို့ပေးရန်အတွက် လျှောက်ထားသူ၏လိပ်စာရေးသွင်းထားပြီး၊ ကျသင့်တံဆိပ်ခေါင်းတန်ဖိုးပေးချေထားပြီး၊ Tracking Number ယူထားပြီးဖြစ်သည့် စာအိပ်တစ်အိတ် ပေးပို့ပေးရပါမည်။ လျှောက်ထားသူမှ ပေးပို့သည့်စာအိတ်သည် လိပ်စာမှားယွင်းစွာရေးသွင်းထားခြင်း၊ တံဆိပ်ခေါင်းဖိုးလုံလောက်စွာပေးချေထားမှုမရှိခြင်း၊ Tracking Number မပါရှိခြင်းတို့ကြောင့် စာအိတ်နောက်ကျခြင်း၊ မရောက်ရှိခြင်း၊ ပျောက်ဆုံးခြင်းတို့အတွက် လျှောက်ထားသူ၏ တာဝန်သာဖြစ်ပါသည်။
7.  Social Visa Fee for Single    :  USD   50 (ဗီဇာ၏သက်တမ်း(၃)လ၊ နေထိုင်ခွင့် (၇ဝ)ရက်၊ တစ်ကြိမ်သာဝင်ခွင့်ရှိ)
Social Visa Fee for Multiple (3 months)   :  USD 150 (ဗီဇာ၏သက်တမ်း(၃)လ၊ နေထိုင်ခွင့် (၇ဝ)ရက်၊ တစ်ကြိမ်သာဝင်ခွင့်ရှိ)
Social Visa Fee for Multiple (6 months)  :  USD 300 (ဗီဇာ၏သက်တမ်း(၆)လ၊ နေထိုင်ခွင့် (၇ဝ)ရက်၊ တစ်ကြိမ်သာဝင်ခွင့်ရှိ)
Social Visa Fee for Multiple (1 Year)  :  USD 450 (ဗီဇာ၏သက်တမ်း(၁)နှစ်၊ နေထိုင်ခွင့် (၇ဝ)ရက်၊ တစ်ကြိမ်သာဝင်ခွင့်ရှိ)
Note: the above mentioned new social visa fee will affect from 12 December 2016.

8.  Payment can be made by Cashier’s check or Money Order only. (Payable to Myanmar Embassy)
(Payment arranged through Credit Card/Personal check/Cash is not accepted)
9. The parents request letter and passports copies are needed for their children if they apply visa separately.

VISA INFORMATION
–   The stay for the Social Visa is 70 days, which is extendable.
–   The validity of the Social Visa (Single Entry) is 3 months from the date of issue, which cannot be renewed or refunded. Embassy will issue visa for completed application as soon as receive it. Embassy will not take any responsible for too early and too late applications.

VISA PROCESSING TIME: Minimum (3) business days for completed application.

PHOTOGRAPHY GUIDE (2 Photos for Social Visa)

• The photograph must have been taken within the last six months.
• The photograph should be in color with the white background.
• Photo Size:   35 mm X 45 mm or standard photo size of 2 in X 2 in
• Photo Appearance: The photograph must be a full-face view in which the visa applicant is facing the camera directly. Side or angled views are NOT accepted.
• Digital Photos: Digitally reproduced photographs must be reproduced without discernible pixels or dot patterns.
• Photocopied photographs are NOT accepted.
