Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and High Level Myanmar Delegation met with representatives of displaced persons at Cox’s bazar, Bangladesh
Myanmar attaches importance to its relationship with the United States and the Government is firmly committed to work closely with the Government of the United States and other stake holders to address and resolve issues of common concern of both countries.
The Special Envoy of the United Nations Secretary-General, Ms. Christine Schraner Burgener, visited Myanmar from 18 to 29 January. During that time she oversaw the installation of her new office in Nay Pyi Taw, where she also met with union level Ministers and with the Chairperson of the Independent Commission of Enquiry.
